GAFIO's membership fees, used solely for member benefits, are waived for those joining by December 31, 2025, and thereafter set at US$100/year for individuals, US$50/year for students, and varying amounts for different corporate units, with potential regional adjustments.
All membership fees collected by GAFIO will be used exclusively for the benefit of GAFIO members.
Those who join before December 31, 2025, will not be charged membership fees, for individual, student and corporate members.
After December 31, 2025, membership fees for an individual member is 100 U.S. dollars/year, membership fees for a student member is 50 U.S dollars/year, membership fees for a Board of Directors Unit is 1,000 U.S. dollars/year, membership fees for a Executive Committee Unit is 800 U.S. dollars/year, membership fees for a general Member Unit is 500 U.S. dollars/year. GAFIO's streamlined membership application process includes review, recommendation, approval, notification, database recording, and fee payment.
The GAFIO Office oversees the reception and evaluation of individual and corporate membership applications, ensuring that applicants fulfill the membership criteria and have provided all necessary information and documents.
The Secretary of the Executive Committee will assess the application and provide a recommendation.
The Executive Committee typically make the final approval of membership.
Once a decision is made, the GAFIO Office will notify applicants of the outcome of their application. If approved, applicants will receive a confirmation letter, a membership certificate, or related membership materials.
The information of new members will be recorded in the GAFIO membership database by the GAFIO Office.
Upon becoming a member, fees must be paid promptly.
Annual Executive Committee reviews ensure member compliance with criteria, bylaws, and standards, with updates and status changes managed accordingly.
The membership is reviewed every year by the Executive Committee to ensure that every member meets the criteria, adhere to the bylaws, code of conduct, and policies and standards throughout their membership tenure. Any changes in membership status or updates to member information are communicated and managed accordingly.
